We lend mini bike pumps and basic tools. You can also rent a bike flashlight if needed. There is also an option to change normal pedals to SPD -clipless pedals. We try to accommodate varying needs and wishes to the best of our ability.

Cancellation Policy

The rental can be cancelled free of charge up to 21 days before arrival. If the cancellation is made less than 21 days before arrival, the booking is modified, or the customer does not arrive, no refund will be issued.

Terms & conditions

We do everything we can to ensure that your rental experience is pleasant and successful. To understand your responsibilities, please read the following rental terms.

1. Use of the Bicycle

Please note: Do not leave the bicycle unattended. The renter accepts the bicycle in good condition and agrees to return it in the same condition as at the time of pickup. The renter agrees to ride in accordance with Finnish law and the rules of Syöte National Park, and also agrees to the following:

• The renter will not adjust or tamper with the mechanical parts of the bicycle.
• The renter will return the bicycle to Lapland Bike Hotel at the agreed date and time stated in the contract. Late returns will be charged €20 per bike + €10 per hour. For electric bikes: €20 per bike + €20 per hour.
• The renter is responsible for any damage to or loss of the bicycle. If the bicycle is lost, destroyed, or damaged beyond repair as assessed by Lapland Bike Hotel, the renter agrees to pay the replacement value of the bicycle. The compensation amount is determined by Lapland Bike Hotel and will be charged during the rental period.

2. Bicycle Liability and Insurance

We recommend that you have appropriate insurance. We are not responsible for any illness, injury, or damage to or loss of personal belongings during the trip or guided tour. It is also recommended that your insurance covers cancellation costs related to your bike reservation.

The renter agrees to pay, in addition to the rental fee, any extra costs caused by misuse or damage to the bicycle. If the bicycle is damaged due to the renter’s actions, lost, or stolen, the renter will be charged the full value of the bicycle (€2,600–€5,600).

3. Repairs and Maintenance

If the bicycle breaks down, do not abandon it. If the damage is caused during use, the renter is responsible for returning the bicycle to the rental location. The renter is responsible for all necessary repairs, including replacement parts.

If the issue is due to normal wear and tear, please contact us so we can arrange a replacement bicycle.

4. Accidents and Liability Waiver

The renter releases Lapland Bike Hotel from all liability for any damage or injury caused to the renter or third parties. The customer assumes full responsibility for the bicycle from the moment of pickup until it is returned in the same condition as at the time of pickup.
